A headache can be anywhere around the head and even go as far as the neck area. The fact is the brain tissue’s lack of pain receptors keep it from feeling pain at all. The pain on the other hand comes from various symptoms which the pain receptors surrounding the brain are experiencing. The thing though with headaches is that it can stem from a wide variety of ailments and not any pill can cure it.

If you are constantly suffering from headaches, it is best that you visit a physician and have yourself examined. Once you have been diagnosed then your physician can provide you with the right kind of medicine which can help improve your condition. If you are suffering from high-blood pressure then perhaps anti-hypertensive medication would work for you.

On the other hand, if you are suffering from depression and you are also having a migraine, then taking anti-depressants would work too. The truth is that treating headaches can be a trial and error process at times. You have to figure out which medicines would work for you, provided that you have your physician approved of it. Keep in mind that you cannot just randomly pick up a pick and drink it up because it can have side-effects and could potentially worsen your condition.

    I often suffered being stricken by headache. I usually take paracetamol and it will subside eventually. Guess I will have to see my doctor. Thanks for this!

    Did 10 articles about this topic on a deadline before… I think that qualifies as one of the unconventional ’causes of headaches 🙂 I don’t take meds for headaches though.. I find it best to just take a rest and let the pain subside on its own. It will eventually. If it doesn’t then that’s the time I will force myself to see my doctor before taking anything. 🙂

  5. I think you’re right in saying that headaches maybe a symptom of so many things. It is still best to consult your doctor to help you identify the real cause of the symptom.

    Been suffering from migraine since high school and apparently all because of stress. Not drinking meds as long as I can take it. But there are times when, it’s terrible and I just had to drink one and sleep it off.
